MAKEUP: Bright Idea
My favorite color combination is green and pink + I love sunflowers. = Wet N Wild Color Icon in Bright Idea is perfect for me! This was gifted to me by one of my stunning blogger friends, Eileen. She just revamped her weblog so do check out her page now! To know more about the eyeshadow, I'm sure you're dying to see a swatch, read more after the jump!
I know in many parts of the world, people are in their floral shorts and light pastel tops celebrating summer (wait, I always confused summer fashion with spring). But in the Philippines, it's been raining almost everyday. June-July months are usually rain shower months so on these two months, I make an extra effort to bring some sunshine to my day. This is where Wet N Wild Color Icon in Bright Idea enters the picture. With its stunning frosted yet pigmented pink, lime green and lemon yellow shadows, you're assured nothing can rain down your parade.
As usual, the only thing I don't like about Wet N Wild Color Icon palettes is the delicate nature of their shadows. They easily break/crack and they are so soft. The great thing, of course, is their no-brainer design. As indicated, the pink shade is for your entire lids, the green for your crease and the yellow for your browbone. My personal recommendation is for you to use the "browbone" color to dot a hint of brightness on the inner corner of your eye. This is to achieve a unique doe-eyed aesthetic.
I really love this Wet N Wild Color Icon palette. REALLY LOVE. Little colorful pockets of sunshine like these shadow palettes make me feel bubbly despite the rainy days.
