NAILS: Choose Me

After not one (Nicole Sounds Grape to Me), not two (Nicole Sounds Grape to Me under Kleancolor's Chunky Holo Scarlet), not three (Ever Bilena Black under Milani Jewel in Gold), but four (Borghese in Stellar Notte) nail polish executions, I finally found the one I would stick with, for today at least.

I'm not feeling well but am feeling better today. It also doesn't hurt that fate played a very crucial role in how I chose my uplifting nail color today. See when I'm not feeling well, I like seeing sudden pops of color--and the very process of painting--so changing my nail polish today just seemed apt.

Unfortunately, I had such a struggle. Every time I would finish painting my nails I would look at what I did and feel unsatisfied. No joke, I painted and removed my polish about four times before I enjoyed the outcome of my hard labor. Fun to note, while I was rummaging my nail polish basket, this tiny bottle of Essence nail polish spoke to me. It was one of my unused polishes and its name is Choose Me.




Since I was feeling a bit lost in the choosing-your-nail-color department, I thought oh wow, how cute is it that this tiny nail color suddenly showed face, nail polish name side up. So I chose it. Photos below leaves me feeling justified--and satisfied. enjoy!

Never underestimate a tiny bottle of glitter polish. Notice the mix of silver and green sparkling undertones to this polish. Sooo nice.

I love how it has a grainy finish but it doesn't feel textured at all. It's also important to emphasize that I'm not wearing any top coat in the photos.
