DIY: Funori Seaweed Treatment Mask
Tweet
I love sushi! If I am to decide where I am to celebrate any special day (birthday, date, event, success) I would celebrate at a sushibar! I love sashimi and anything, almost anything, wrapped in seaweed! Heck, I even wrap my hair in seaweed.
Say whutt?
Yes! I just mentioned using seaweed for your hair! It's so effective and I am dumb-founded by how it left my hair feeling thoroughly cleaned, clarified (no signs of build-up) and moisturized (very soft and flowy!)
Here's how I ended up with this amazing product. So last month, I have been under the weather--hair wise. I have been having bad hair after bad hair day. More than that, my scalp was developing rashes and every time I wash my hair (with the shampoo I was using) I would feel a burning sensation! My hair was falling like crazy and of course, like any other girl, my heart was breaking because of all those!
I posted a tweet on my twitter page (please follow me at @kumikomae) and complained about my problem. I was so worried because here's the catch... I'm using an all natural shampoo SO HOW COME my scalp was reacting that bad?! In fact, the hair product I've been using to cleanse my hair has been my brand for almost 2 years already and I was so surprised to experience so much pain upon using it. I don't know if the product was reformulated under the table or if it were just one bad apple--all I know is it was hurting my crowning glory. Ladies, I'm sure you can relate with the importance of maintaining our MANE!
Immediately, @WawazaLiving replied to my tweet and offered to send me a product that should help me with my hair problem. I almost welled up! Seriously. I was so overwhelmed with the sweet gesture my friends from Wawaza shared with me. Of course I said yes, I was very desperate you see, and in less than two weeks of using the product they sent to me, I have to say I'm healed!
I've used the Funori* seaweed powder for the hair as a cleanser (where I just mix a small amount with water and wash my hair with it in lieu of a shampoo and conditioner), as an add-on to my favorite shampoo (where I mix a small amount directly to my shampoo instead of dissolving the product in lukewarm water), and as a hair treatment mask which I would be sharing with you through the succeeding photos. Of course, the latter is the most effective means of using Funori as it is jam-packed with the seaweed's moisturizing coverage. It may be a bit pricey but if you too are going through a desperate hair concern and would like a sure-fire effective way to stop the rashes, the allergic reaction and the drastic hairfall, a 180 turn to an all natural product like Funori will help.
I hope you enjoy the photos and I hope if you try the product our (which you should), you let me know via comments, email or even on twitter! Funori is the only all natural clarifying yet moisturizing shampoo that I am open to bet my hair on. It's really the most effective product! Heaven sent! Arigato Wawaza Japan!
All you need to make an...
It smells slightly fishy at first but it's not something that is overwhelming and worth noting down. It should smell fishy anyway because it's authentic seaweed powder. :)
