NAILS: HOLO GALAXY!
Let's admit it, holographic polishes are hard to resist. Well, when I received a few holo polishes from my friend Joann of JellyKiss.com, I held on to the idea of using the lot of the holos... all at once! Well, holos are beautiful on its own. It was an expected success! Here's the result!

It also reminds me of some race cars. But that's just me. For you reference, the polishes I used are listed below. (clockwise)
1. Borghese Stellare Note
2. Tony Moly GS04
3. Kleancolor Chunky Holo Teal
4. Kleancolor Chunky Holo Bluebell
5. Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple
6. Kleancolor Chunky Holoe Midnight Seduction
7. Kleancolor Chunky Holo Scarlet
What does it remind you of?

Thanks Fernanda! I'm quite the proud girl myself!
DeleteWow, all those combined makes for a spectacular result!!!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't have done it without you!
DeleteThis is GORGEOUS! I love this combination so much!! O_O;;
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to master the art of sponging...whenever I do it, it looks so harsh. xD I'm getting there...
It helps to use polish that isn't tacky... and it helps to generally apply small amounts and just pack on color :D

Hello Dia, thanks for coming by!
DeleteWow, it looks like space, kind of, well with the sun!!! You used quite a few products!
ReplyDeleteYes! I was really trying to achieve something like that. Like i wanted it to be like a mass of hot gass and stuff. like how galaxies are!
DeleteWhoa that looks pretty cool! I have never seen nails done like that

I'm so happy that you found the nail art I shared to be unique! I am so proud cause I'm very new at this!
DeleteLove all the holos!!
ReplyDeleteMe too! If you have some you should recreate something similar! I'd like to see your take on this technique!
DeleteI really love anything with glitters esp on nails...but I don't like it sometimes bcoz it's really hard to remove with you want them to remove. You get what I mean? :( Do you know any polish remover which is made for polish with glitters?
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by to my blog. Love your blog so much!
Xoxo
I think holos are more cooperative in terms of the removing business. compared to flakies or glitters. i dont really know a remover for glitters, but you might fo the foil technique in removing hard-to-remove lacquers. :D
Deletethe nails look beautiful! I really liked your blog, and would love it if you were interested in following each other! Come by some day! xx
ReplyDeleteuhm awkward. but i thought we've already been following each other for months. huhu blogwalking spam comment :(
Deleteang ganda! :) sana magawa ko din. thanks sa idea sis!
ReplyDeleteBe sure to tweet or facebook me with the outcome! :D
DeleteThanks Mery! Glad you liked and followed the blog! Appreciate it so :D
ReplyDeleteThat looks amazing! I love the look of galaxy nails, especially when they're so gorgeously multicoloured and sparkly as these :)
ReplyDeleteHi honey! I loved this mani of yours :)
ReplyDeleteEven though those Kleancolor have the word 'holo' on them, they're not really what I've come to known as such in the NB world.
The holos I know are like a rainbow in your nails, like the Layla Hologram Effect. These are more like duochromatic glitters :)
If you haven't tried the holos I mention I can send you some :D There's a store that sells Pupa holos (not in my city, but the city my father works in, so he goes every week there)
