NAILS: HOLO GALAXY!

Let's admit it, holographic polishes are hard to resist. Well, when I received a few holo polishes from my friend Joann of JellyKiss.com, I held on to the idea of using the lot of the holos... all at once! Well, holos are beautiful on its own. It was an expected success! Here's the result!

I sponged five different polishes on top of a lovely dark-green polish base then went on to a layer of a clear holo-rific polish before finishing off with a Seche Vite top coat. It was a cosmic paradise, yes?

It also reminds me of some race cars. But that's just me. For you reference, the polishes I used are listed below. (clockwise)

1. Borghese Stellare Note
2. Tony Moly GS04
3. Kleancolor Chunky Holo Teal
4. Kleancolor Chunky Holo Bluebell
5. Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple
6. Kleancolor Chunky Holoe Midnight Seduction
7. Kleancolor Chunky Holo Scarlet

What does it remind you of?

    1. It helps to use polish that isn't tacky... and it helps to generally apply small amounts and just pack on color :D

  8. I really love anything with glitters esp on nails...but I don't like it sometimes bcoz it's really hard to remove with you want them to remove. You get what I mean? :( Do you know any polish remover which is made for polish with glitters?
Thanks for dropping by to my blog. Love your blog so much!

    1. I think holos are more cooperative in terms of the removing business. compared to flakies or glitters. i dont really know a remover for glitters, but you might fo the foil technique in removing hard-to-remove lacquers. :D

  13. Hi honey! I loved this mani of yours :)
Even though those Kleancolor have the word 'holo' on them, they're not really what I've come to known as such in the NB world.

The holos I know are like a rainbow in your nails, like the Layla Hologram Effect. These are more like duochromatic glitters :)

If you haven't tried the holos I mention I can send you some :D There's a store that sells Pupa holos (not in my city, but the city my father works in, so he goes every week there)
