HAIRPOST: For Dry and Brittle Hair
Tweet
I LOVE HAIR MASKS. I don't have beautiful commercial locks so Hair Masks are the bane of my existence. Now, my hair is waist-length and as much as I would like to afford having a hair treatment done at the salon, I can't because that would burn a deep hole on my pocket. With this, at-home hair masks serve as my saving grace.
Today, I would like to share with you a Davines hair mask that I got to try, the Nounou Hair Mask.
What does the Nounou hair mask commit for your hair's health? It is formulated to restore softness and shine, heal breakage and repair dry and damaged hair. Now, you all know how much I love coloring my hair--so yes, those triple threats are actually the reality I face everyday. Nounou and my hair are a match made in heaven!
It looks gooey, and I really enjoyed playing around with this product last Halloween. The consistency of the mask was thick and creamy--just like how I want my hair masks to be like. The scent was also favorable, and the best part, this hair mask is infused with the kiss of Olives and we all know how great Olives are for the hair.
Upon trying the mask, I noticed and immediate improvement on my hair's luster. My hair also had that livelier bounce--something I end up losing when I have a strain of bad hair days. Having long hair also poses risks of having too much tangles to deal with, and this hair mask helped me maintain a manageable hair.
Ideal for those with dry and brittle hair, the Davines Nounou hair mask is definitely something worth trying. I'm almost done with my tub and I can see myself needing more of this mask in the party-days to come. For more information, you may follow Davines Philippines on Twitter.
How about you? How do you care for your hair?

haha you are right! it does look like guacamole!
DeleteI just condition my hair. No treatments.... I really blow dry the heck out of it though. I use a really big round brush and super hot powerful hair dryer by Elchim (italian brand). I have to say though since we live in different climates I don't know what I would do in a tropical climate. When I go down to Florida which is hot and humid., it's too hot to blow dry and when I do, I step outside and all the work I did gets undone by the humidity.... my hair just frizzes up, so I guess I would need to do treatments.
ReplyDeletei think it helps that you are in a colder climate cause here, where it's hot and humid most of the time, frizziness is our battlefield
Deletei love hair masks too!!!! i use mine everyday because my hair isn't as sleek, smooth or shiny without it :D
ReplyDeleteWow! everyday??? thats a lot! but i try to use mine at least thrice a wk myself :D
DeleteHaven't tried hair masks before. What I use are hair creams from HBC. They've done well on my hair :)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds exactly like something I need for my own hair. *__* Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe product does not look very attractive but the description you made of it makes me want to try it! I'll tell you if I end up giving it a go! ;)
