Hello Sunshine! Among the crevices of my lips is a backstory. One time, while I was commuting to Angono Rizal for my Summer Art class, I saw my crush on the rear mirror, a classmate. It was so silly, and I guess I was so flirty for my age, because when I saw him, I couldn’t help but take a peek ever so often. It’s not always that you get to share an FX ride with your crush right? So might as well make the most out of it—and that I did. When I chanced upon him also glancing at me through the mirror, so technically we were looking each other eye-to-eye, I smiled. Then damn, my lips chapped. I tasted blood and it hurt really bad. I couldn’t smile nor talk comfortably for a while. Then I saw that at the very center of my full lips, I have a wound. To date, that wound has become a lip line and every time I see it I always remember how I totally had it coming for flirting so young! hehe

Today, I found myself suffering from yet another dry lip
day. I am being very careful when I stretch my lips to talk or smile at anyone
because I wouldn’t want another lip line to mark its presence on my pucker
forever. Then I remembered I brought with me my new San San lipsheers. I got
them recently from one of my massive HBC haul, and today, I want to share with
you some swatches because I am so delighted by how coffee brown and petal pink
my new lippies are.
I’m so happy with my new lip colors. My guard was completely
down so my amazement with this lipsheer’s performance was just beyond words. Of
course we all know San San cosmetics really is among the brands to beat when it
comes to makeup with skincare benefits, but wow, the color pay-off for these
lipsheers was just astonishing. Just look at how coffee brown (coffee caramel
to be exact) and how petal pink Nude Brown and Pink Pout are. In a way I found
it odd that they were named lipsheers because they weren’t sheer at all! They
were very pigmented on my lips. But then after closer inspection, I think, and
this is just a hunch, I think they’re called lipsheers because they glide as if
they’re sheer and thin, but are buildable enough to achieve a punch of vivid
shades for the lips.
Now if only they come in more shades... because they only cost P125 each! And I really wouldn't mind having them all! They are not waxy, they don't settle on the lines and they have a hint of sheen to them, so yes, I think they're just perfect!
The two shades I went home with are perfect for my two
sides: the artistic and the playfully young. Wearing the Nude Brown makes me
feel closer to my core, and that is writing and self-expression; but swiping on
the Pink Pout brings me to my usual bubbly jolly and personable demeanor, and
you know what… it’s okay! It’s okay to have a multi-faceted personality! It’s important to have two dynamics of self--the fun and the
formal side. In makeup, that’s as simple as a pink and a nude lip color!
Don't forget to join my Fragrance giveaway and win the complete collection of HBC's newest scents! That's a whopping eight bursts of joyous blends! Good luck!
How about you? What’s
your personality like?

ReplyDeleteI have one too! Peach something shade. I also wondered why it was called 'lipsheer' because it was able to cover up my uneven lip color in just one swipe. I'll check out these shades din. Nude Brown looks good! :D
