Hello Sunshine! Just want to share with you amazing SPA news! The Fifth Season Spa in Astoria Plaza Ortigas is now open! I was blessed to be invited to the private launch, and on top of that, I even got to try some wonderful Pevonia treatments fit for every busy woman who loves the hussle-and bustle of the city-life! :)
Beating stress is a must for any dreamer. Scientifically, stress is behind most bits of diseases recorded by time: physical and psychological. Truth is, stress is a culprit to gloomy days and broken dreams, especially for the light-spirited. That is why I am a firm believer of beating stress to the curb.
My personal choice of relaxation is enjoying a bit of me-time every now and then. My favorite is getting a foot spa! A mani-pedi also does the trick! But for days when the stressors are far too great, a trip to the spa is the most perfect solution!
Last week, one great news for spa-lovers just opened its doors to wellness beauties of the metro. Fifth Season Spa of Astoria Plaza Ortigas officially opened, and mind you, their treatments are superb and only uses premium products such as Pevonia. I was fortunate to attend their spa launch and was given a taste of their wonderful foot spa treatment, facial and Tropical Delight Body Scrub and Massage treatment.
I was in heaven. The name Fifth Season fit perfectly as if there would ever be another season to love, it would be Fifth Season Spa! And what's more, the unique thing about Fifth Season Spa is every time you go there, you will be welcomed with a hand ritual so everything you're worried about from the outside world would be washed away from the moment you step in. The spa’s signature ‘Hand Ritual’ which calms the mind and tickles the senses through aromatherapy. Guests select from aroma salts that are used to cleanse the hands and triggers the relaxation process.
Fifth Season Spa has four individual rooms with shower areas and one couple room with a bath tub designed in rich colors of the seasons: summer, autumn, winter, spring and a fifth season. Each room is especially designed to highlight the mood of each season. The Winter Room is designed in blue hues imparting a calming and cooling effect. The Spring Room is fresh in colors of yellow and green, aptly themed for rejuvenation and renewal. The most colorful room is the Summer Room as it stimulates and energizes. The Autumn Room is done in shades of pale tones with touches of color marking the transition from summer to winter. The Fifth Season Room is an elegant room that infuses the four seasons, eliciting maximum relaxation.
I enjoyed my treatment in Summer room! I waited for the room because I really want to live up to my LovingSunshine name. Each of their treatment rooms have its own shower so you don't have to go through the hassle of moving from the wet room to your treatment haven. The Tropical Delight treatment is truly a must-try! It is a 90-hour treatment that begins with a deluxe body scrub and grandly closes with a relaxing massage.
