April - May Empties Overload

Hello Sunshine! Emptying products is my guilty pleasure. I love collecting my empties because it makes me feel proud of myself (for actually finishing a product down to its last bit); and I also love reading other people’s empties. In fact, I think I trust empties posts more than reviews because with an empties post, I know the person giving me thoughts about the featured item actually gave it a chance and had more than enough time to see results or effects.

I can’t remember my last empties post, so I’m making it up with a hefty set. Check out my April-May empties and let me know if you’ve tried any of these products yourself.

Herbalife Aqua Shampoo*

My hair is hypersensitive because I subject it to multiple coloring treatments. So is the importance of using sulphate-free shampoos for me. When I got my Herbalife Aqua Shampoo and Conditioner set,  I knew it would do me good because it’s also made of camella oil and seaweed extracts—two natural derivatives which I’ve tried beforehand and have experienced to be effective for me. I would be happy to repurchase this shampoo, only if it would be easy for me to find someone selling Herbalife products. To learn more about this item, please check out my Herbalife Aqua Shampoo and Conditioner review.

Head and Shoulders Cool Menthol Shampoo (girlfriend empties)

Oh, I forgot to say that this empties post would include my girlfriend’s empties too. I encouraged her to help me out and join me in emptying products—because it’s fun! So here’s one of her empties. For her, only Head and Shoulders is effective in preventing her dandruff problems. I’ve never really worried much about dandruff so I’ll just take her word for it. But seriously, I feel bad for her because she can only use one shampoo, for like, ever?!

Cream Silk Damage Control Conditioner

When it comes to conditioners, I always reach out for damage control variants because I believe I’m eternally cursed to have damaged hair! This number has a blueish solution, and I find that weird or rather, eerie, because I can’t imagine what active ingredient earns its tint. As for effectivity, it’s pretty okay. I think Cream Silk conditioners are no-bullshit conditioners because they always do the job. I got this product for my previous trip to Dagupan; hence the small tube. If you want to learn more about my Dagupan trip, please read this travel entry.

L'oreal Total Repair 3x anti-Hair Fall Shampoo with Arginine

Aside from having damaged hair, I also suffer from hair fall. Frankly, it comes in waves, which brings me to the conclusion that my hair fall problem is more stress-related than actual scalp-associated. Nonetheless, I try to do my share of taking care of my head by using a shampoo that strengthens my hair to prevent hair breakage which leads to hair fall. I’ve used this variant of L'oreal Total Repair for over a year now, and to date I’ve no complains. I don’t use this straight up though, because my hair seems to develop immunity to its formula. What I do is, I empty a bottle and then switch to another variant from Loreal Total Repair. Afterwhich, I go back to this variant to make sure that my hair fall problem is in check.

Pantene Hair Fall Control Conditioner

As I’ve mentioned earlier, my other big hair problem is hair fall. Because of this, I also try to extend my hair fall control regimen to my conditioner. The girlfriend said she doesn’t like the scent of this conditioner; while I don’t really have any issue with it. It smells typically Pantene—a scent I actually am quite fond of.

Watsons Extra Shine Treatment Wax with Henna Extract*

I got this as a New Year’s gift from Arc PR. It took me a while to try it out since I have quite a collection of hair masks in use. But upon trial, I realized that this hair treatment mask may be one of the underrated items from Watsons. To be honest, I don’t use a lot of Watsons hair care or skincare because they are surprisingly too affordable, and I end up questioning their quality. I’ve also given their shampoos a try and it really didn’t work for me… but this one is pretty good! I would repurchase this once I finish my other tub!

Human Heart Nature Chamomile Cool Feminine Wash

I missed this product to bits, and am quite thrilled to find their gondola out in the open while doing my groceries at Metro Supermarket. Super happy, because I’m very particular with what I use down there and this Human Heart Nature feminine wash is a tried and tested to be great product!

Pepsodent Cavity Fighter Toothpaste

I got this as part of a toiletry kit that I got last Christmas. It’s but a tiny tube and I have nothing much to really say about this; other than it’s convenient, and I’ve taken it with me to my out of country and out of town trips where I’m proud to say that this toothpaste has a lot to offer—quantity wise.

Sensodyne Rapid Relief toothpaste*

Right on cue, I got to attend Sensodyne’s Say No to Ngilo event after having my front tooth pasta redone. Imagine my surprise when I got a bagful of toothpaste from Sensodyne! I’ve been using Sensodyne since highschool and I’m very happy with it. True enough, I don’t experience hypersensitivity when using my Sensodyne dental care.

Swish Icy Choco Mint Mouthwash*

Since I’ve been receiving my Swish monthly mouthwash packs, I have to say it’s the Icy Choco Mint variant which I tried the most. Swish Icy Choco Mint is pretty cool because while gargling, you woulnd taste the hint of chocolatey goodness. Maybe distracting for some, but I enjoyed that part. Obviously, I go through my bottle pretty fast! Check out my Swish Mouthwashreviews here and here.

Etude House Lemon Tone Clarifying Mask (girlfriend empties)

When we go through a stressful or long week, I usually invite the girlfriend to a face mask night so we can enjoy a great sleep as we welcome our much-deserved weekend. This Lemon Tone Clarifying Mask smelled pretty nice and the sheet mask was a perfect fit.

Shiseido White Lucent Power Brightening Mask

Love this face mask. It is loaded with Shiseido White Lucent Essence, which I extend down to my neck and décolletage. The mask is also a great fit, and it feels very sturdy and relaxing when worn. I usually sleep with this mask on my face—not sure if that’s an okay thing to do! I however have been doing it since the time I reviewed Shiseido White Lucent here.

ELF Candid Coral blush

This blush is my right kind of warm coral. It’s pretty shimmery but in a non-offensive way. Like other ELF blushes, this is a basic shade that I think would be great for everyday wear. It’s packed in a professional looking case, that is pretty handy to take with you on-the-go. However, it doesn’t have a brush, but it’s pretty easy to apply even with just your fingers.

Leisure Regatta Man Fragrance (girlfriend empties)

I got addicted to this fragrance because of this Glamourbox. Super loved how it smelled, and unsurprisingly enough, I fell in love with the variant for men than the Regatta Summer for women. It smells lovely and the girlfriend and I have been through four bottles already.

Sure-Aid 70% Alcohol

I almost always have a travel-sized alcohol with me. I feel uncomfortable when I am out and I don’t have alcohol with me. I love using alcohol to disinfect my hands and surfaces, like my phone, table, and even when using a public restroom. This Sure-Aid alcohol is pretty good because it doesn’t have that overpowering alcohol scent—which leaves me feeling dizzy.

Kontur Cellulite Control Cream

I’m already on my second bottle of Kontur, and though I can’t really physically see myself losing inches, I do notice that my dresses seem to fit me better; like my dress hugs my body better so I think that’s a good sign. Of all cellulite creams I’ve tried, it’s Kontur whicih delivered the most of its promises so far. I know cellulite control is tricky business, but it doesn’t hurt to have a product that can boost nurning of fat just under the skin—which is very very hard to get rid of even with regular exercise!

Clinique All About Eyes Rich*

This is the best eye cream I’ve ever tried. A little goes a long way, and it doesn’t leave me with oily lids after application. The best part? After months of using this eye cream, I visually saw my eye area improve! Puffiness and fine lines were reduced! At first I couldn’t believe it, but it really happened. Finally, here’s an eye cream that doesn’t feel pointless! I’m definitely signing up for more Clinique skincare after experiencing the wonderful benefits of Clinique All About Eyes Rich.

How about you? What's the last product you've emptied?
