Unboxing August BDJ Box

Hello Sunshine! I has such an awesome August 2014, and it was capped off with a beauty treat, the elusive August BDJ Box! I was at Singapore when it arrived, but when I got back, it was there, patiently waiting for my to be surprised. The best part? It touches my staple beauty frustration... my hair!

Having luscious locks is my three-fold utopian dream! But now... I think it's about to become my reality!

With the August 2014 BDJ Box, I am a step closer to having luscious locks! Here are the samples included in my box.

Loreal Professionel Mythic Oil, 45ml deluxe sample only (Php 995, 125ml)

This is not my first time to try this product so for my thoughts, click Loreal Mythic Oil.

Loreal Professionel Mythic Oil Nourishing Masque, 75ml deluxe sample only (Php 1,095, 200ml)

This will be my first time to try the Mythic Oil hair mask and I'm very excited. I've used the Mythic Oil oil beforehand and have enjoyed it's tried and tested hair benefits. Presently, I'm using up my Loreal Xtenso hair mask; after I'm done with that, I'll give this baby a run!

Garnier Cololor Naturals, 100ml full-sized product (Php 199)

Just last month I promised myself to be more gentle towards my hair, and part of the promise is to avoid hair coloring. So sadly, I won't give this a try--BUT I will give my sample to le girlfriend and let you know how it goes! Oh, I've tried Garnier before and you can see that shade by clicking this: Garnier Darkest Brown hair.

Blo Vouchers (estimated savings, Php 400)

I'm not a fan of vouchers from sample boxes because I don't like most that I got--for one very major reason, the stores or boutiques to which the vouches are available for redemption are nowhere near me (mostly the North)! But this time around, I'm pleased to say that I actually have a chance of availing my BDJ discount voucher because Blo has branches in Rockwell and Serendra, yey!

The Luscious Locks August BDJ Box has beauty samples outside the hair category too. I got the following: 

Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate, sample only (Php 3,500, 30ml)

When I get sample tubes of Shiseido products, I get excited because these are the skincare stuff I bring with me for travels or overnight gimiks. Upon reading about this newly launched skincare item, from my favorite Japanese skincare brand no-less, I realized that it's an extraordinary piece. The Shiseido Ultimune complex was developed from 20 years of dermatological research, and promises supple and glowing skin with just one week of usage!

Revlon Supreme Lustrous Lipstick Shine, 4g full-sized product (Php 350)

I got the Pink Cognito shade of Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Shine, and upon swatching it, I realized that it has a subtle effect of a lip gloss; which is super good because I do love glossy lips, but hate the sticky effect most lip gloss offers.
