Maybelline Rebel Lips collection and swatches
Hello Sunshine! Rainy season is upon us. No doubt. Just this week alone, there were a lot of class and some work suspensions nationwide... but not me! I'm immortal! hahaha Anyway, though the days are gloomy, I want to share something that will help you be in full bloom. Finally, I got to swatch my Maybelline Rebel Lips collection*. Let's go!
Over-all, the Maybelline Rebel Lips line offers a sheer punch of color. It's not as creamy as lipsticks go. They have the consistency that reminds me of the Maybelline Watershine lipsticks... which if is your cup of tea, then the Rebel Lips would be worth trying out. I like it because of its peachy pink shades. I'd whip out any of these Rebel Lips when I'm feeling extra girly and ready to go out of my usual red statement lips comfort zone.
Maybelline Rebel Lips 12
A light wash of peach. This shade of lipstick is impressive because I have a dark lip, and for it to cover that up with a pretty peach shade in a few swipes, impressive.Maybelline Rebel Lips 10
This is the hottest pink shade among the Maybelline Rebel lips range. It's very girly and to me, it looks like a lip tint, so I like that about this particular lipstick.Maybelline Rebel Lips 9
I think this can qualify as an MLBB lipstick. It's exactly how I wish my lips would be like even without makeup, naturally rosy.Maybelline Rebel Lips 8
Although, I find this shade to be a pretty pale pink, I don't think it suits my personality as well. Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely demure pink but I feel like it's washing me out. However, I can imagine someone with a fairer skin tone sporting this lip shade better than I ever would.Maybelline Rebel Lips 7
If you're not a fan of sheer lipsticks, but still want to wear one of the Maybelline Rebel Lips collection's releases, then this should be your pick. It has a slightly better coverage than the rest of the rebel lippies I've tried.Maybelline Rebel Lips 6
This nude lippie is super pretty. It's light, but not washed out. I love it. I'd wear it with a bold eye.Maybelline Rebel Lips 5
For the orange lips fanatics, this is the shade for you. Although the Rebel Lips line generally borders on the pink side, Rebel Lips 5 offers an orange hue.Maybelline Rebel Lips 4
Yet another MLBB shade, Rebel Lips 4 is a soft touch of juicy peachy pink that I think can go with anything.Maybelline Rebel Lips 3
This shade is an on point pink. It's has the right pastel pink shade I'm looking for, while still sitting vibrant against my naturally dark lips.Maybelline Rebel Lips 2
Rebel Lips 2 is a juicy color that reminds me a lot of my Lancome glosses, for some odd reason! But of course I'm happy about that because Rebel Lips costs so much cheaper!Maybelline Rebel Lips 1
This is the most red among the Rebel Lips colors. It stands out for me because sheer reds are sometimes the perfect type of red to pair with a fresh look.Over-all, the Maybelline Rebel Lips line offers a sheer punch of color.
